Are We the Most Normal People We Know?

Sooooo, I've been working pretty hard to make new friends. For a few years now. The challenge of which has been compounded by the fact that I already have a "new best friend" who is almost three years old... and shares none of my common interests except M&M's and traveling... and not sleeping in.

You might imagine that my enthusiasm has waned a bit after three years of none of our close and beloved friends stepping up to the stirrups and producing any "new best friends" of their own. Leaving me and my main man a little up the creek without any friends with paddles... or babies.

Back

2008: Goal Number 1

Start a band with my husband & son.
Love playing live.
Dub ourselves "lolBOM"
Tell the record execs to FUCK OFF when they offer the lucrative deal.
Go independent... on our own terms, of course.
Sign a lucrative deal behind our son's back so we can pay for his education...
and new drum kit.
